Setting the VIEWRES variable. On the command line in AutoCAD, enter VIEWRES. Select Y es or N o for fast zooms. Choose a larger value than the one currently set. Note: For example, if the setting is at 100, increase it to 1000 (which is the default). The lower the number, the less smooth curves will be.

11/30/2007 · Import Autocad Data… Delete Circle… NB Sketchup doesn’t draw curves – just straight lines – but I think you’ve already worked this out. File size and more importantly, poly count can build up rapidly when you make curves look really smooth. Choose an appropriate level of detail for the resolution / zoom factor any output will be seen at.
