If the problem is that multiple sessions of AutoCAD are started when opening drawings from explorer then you need to ensure that the "Open with" setting for DWG files is the "AutoCAD DWG Launcher". This can be done by right clicking a DWG file, clicking properties, choosing the general tab and then click the change change button.
