4/13/2007 · 1. Select hatch (hope its boundary was trimmed), then (in hatch menu) recreate it (polyline method). 2. At the prompt: Associate hatch with new boundary? must be YES. 3. Trim the hatch‘s new polyline boundary, then the hatch will be trimmed with it. It worked for m3!

6/1/2016 · A hatch can be associative or not. The associative kind is "associated" with a border that you define by object(s), and you can trim it. The other kind is defined by a pick point, and you cannot trim it.
